THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

Title: Anne Frank

"The Diary of Anne Frank" is a book about a jewis girl she was born in 1929 in Frankfurt in Germany. In 1933, the anti-Jewish National Socialist Party led by Hitler comes to power. Edith and Otto Frank ,Anne Frank’s parents think there is no future in Germany for their children and for them. Theirfor they flee to Netherlands in 1933, Anne are than four years old. Until Anne are eleven she grows up without a care in Holland.

The Netherlands was occupied in 1940 by Germany. In 1942 the hard works begin. Edith and Otto, Anne Frank’s parents see the eventuality of going into hidding annex of the building that houses Otto's job. In more than two years Anne writes her diary in hiding in the Secret Annex. In more than two years she also fills several notebooks. At the end Anne rewrites her diary notebooks with attempt to make a book from her hiding in the Annex, because she think that can be puplished after the war has ended.

Anne Frank wrote the most every day about her life, she described also the frustration the familiy hiding in the annexe had, because they couldn’t go out , she tell also about many thing like that. It was not just the Frank family who lived in the Annexe, people who lived in the Annexe was: Anne Frank, her father Otto Frank, her mother Edith Frank, her sister Margot Frank, Mr. Van Daan, Mrs. Van Daan, Peter Van Daan and Mr. Dussel. It was also four helpers, Miep Gies, Bep Voskuijl, Victor Kugler and Johannes Kleiman. And in the book there is a picture of every one that work in the office on the second floor. The only contact with the outside world during the hiding ,was just through the office workers. They bring books, buy food and report anything that is happening in the outside world.

August 1944, every people in hiding are arrested. Anne was token to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. In March 1945 Anne Frank dies there. Her father was the only person that outlive of ther eight peoplel in the Annexe. Otto Frank published the diaries of his daughter in 1947.

"The Diary of Anne Frank" is one books of the most read in the world. And I think It’s a very good book. Today I find it normally to tell about what has happen with Anne in the end, because this is a true history and I think the most of us see what has happen with Anne and with the most of girl like she in the second war. The book is a bit hard for a girl on maybe 13-year-old Norwegian girl to read. It’s so long and there is not so much action in the book. Just the beginning and in the end very much happen. But that’s just a bit of the book. In the rest of the book normal things is happening. I have read this book before in Norwegian, when I has read that book in English was it maybe a bit easy for me to understand what Anne write in the diary. And from the book I could understand that Anne had never been in love before and when she met Peter she falled in love.

Anne is a very smart girl she has many arguments with her parents. "The Diary of Anne Frank" is a book I today can recommend to everyone because that book are full of drama and final full of love.
