Australia is the world’s sixst biggest contry in areal, and lays in the continent Oceania. The capital is Canberra It has the ocean all around the contry, but it is not so much rivers and lakes. Also, it is not so much rain, and very high heat. It rains as much in Australia on one year, as it rains in Norway, in one day. Because of the big heat, and little rain, it gets very dry. Therefore it very often starts fires in the forest, and around Sydney. They have often problems with stopping the fires, and sometimes they have to let the forest burn until it stops.
The country has a population about 20 million people. Almost 70% of the population lives in the 8. Biggest cities in Australia. The remaining populating lives in places they calls “the outback”.
