I’m sitting in a Starbucks’ café with a caffe latte in my hand. I’m waiting for Felicity Huffman from New York; she should be here in five minutes. When she comes through the door, she’s not like the tired woman she is in “Desperate Housewives”. She’s just got a new haircut and she wears a trendy suit.
We say hello and she sits down.
What do you do in your spare time?
I go to Bloomingdales’ or Barney’s. And sometimes I go to Nobu, that’s a sushi restaurant, David Beckham and many other celebrities use to go there..
How is it to live with many paparazzos’s around you all the time?
Well, they are more interested in the younger... Like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, he he… But of course it happens that someone takes pictures of me, but I don’t care. It’s something I just have to live with.
Felicity orders a donut and a cappuccino. I admire that she can eat a donut without putting on in weight.
Do you have a family?
Yes, I have a lovely husband, William H. Macy and two daughters. Their names are Sofia Grace and Georgia Grace. I couldn’t live without my family; I mean that family is everything.
You are an excellent actress, can you tell me a little about your career?
Felicity blushes. Well… I got a Golden Globe for my role in “Transamerica” in 2005. At the moment I’m busy with “desperate housewives” as Lynette Scavo. What I like most with being an actress is all the new friends I get.
It was a pleasure to meet you, Felicity; I hope I’ll see you again!
No problem, I had a great time too, goodbye!
Felicity as Lynette Scavo in “desperate housewives”.
Felicity as Bree Osbourne in Transamerica.
